WINTER 2013

CRYSTALLIZATION OF INTENTION
When we look at ourselves at younger times, did we know then what we would become in the future?
What we would look like?
What we would be doing with our lives?
The Crystallization Of Intention is the theme for this Winter 2013 issue. An odd theme; however, we can use the Earth/winter as our metaphor to explain the theme. As the Earth moves into its crystallization period, the quiet intention of potential arises.
We have all witnessed, through our experience, the birth of a new cycle or season after winter.
Stages or seasons of our lives are to be expected, no different than the seasons of Nature, and as Humans, those periods are complete with personal memories of each stage, unique within itself.
Our lives, through-out the various time portals; child, adolescent, young adult, adult, mature adult, aging adult and elder brings forth a stream of happenings or events that may seem to be unplanned or unexpected.
Can you remember back? Can you recall what you were thinking, feeling or saying ...what was prominent to you a decade or so ago? Did you have any idea of what you would accomplish? Do you find yourself slightly surprised today that you did not do what you thought you would or that you have done much more than what you had intended?
The process of Crystallization of Intention is inherent within us, despite our inability to be consciously aware of it or, really, to even know what it is. This truth lies in the very essence of the picture.

Looking back from today to then, it was not known what would manifest in your life, however, it is who you are today. It came from the same one you are looking at. It was always there, it just needed time to emerge.
How exciting! The future will present another picture, another you...another phase/season....and the unconscious omnipresent Intention of Crystallization through form to reveal its' Secret Self to you.
Unconscious intention - this unspoken intention that 'is' will crystallize through us, effortlessly, even if we think we control our future...in the future we will look back at today, and with great wisdom exclaim, 'the intention was there!....today I see it !" Unspoken, unsought, yet revealing itself (and revealed) into our reality.
This issue our four writers contribute to this theme. Thank-you Dr. Kathie Black and Irum Naqvi for submitting your picture of earlier days. After reading your articles, I see the wisdom you have become in those youthful photos presented beside your article on this topic. Yves Panneton and Oda Lindner offer their perspective on the theme as wise as ever. Yves article transmits the classical while Oda gives rise to question ourselves if we really have power over such things as intentions.
