Thinking gets us into trouble. Take a look at the state we are in globally.
When I was young my mother used to tell me to think. I had no idea what she was talking about. Eventually I would start thinking.
Feeling is another matter.
Raw emotion can invoke feelings such as rage or hysteria. Both are rampant in the world. This is but another global symptom of the imbalances of her people.
What if we were able to capitalize on our minds and our emotions on an equal playing field? If we made the energetic connection between heart and mind and balanced the energies to create a ‘child’ of pure love and reason?
We are taught to rush, rush, rush — to accomplish our goals, to strive for the top or be the best, to be the smartest and to be number one.

I don’t recall being taught in the school system how to be calm in hyper-tense situations or how to calm the nerves from fear. Or, more importantly, how to co-operate instead of compete.
The world is exploding with imbalance merely because we were not taught, as children of the world, how to balance our hearts and minds and create communities of co-operation.
Through yoga and practice and much study, I have learned how important it is for each and every one of us to learn this balance and create the ‘child’ of heart and mind. As we achieve this balance and the energetic vibration of this birth grows, so too, will the world become balanced.
Let us teach this to our children, our grandchildren, and spread the good news that there is hope for human kind; we are hard-wired to learn. By teaching our students the connection of heart and mind, our karmic burden is greatly reduced.
It may take a few generations; however, keep balancing and tuning in to the heart-mind connection. Our very lives depend upon it.
